It has been a great grade 6 badminton season. The grade 6 badminton team has improved a lot since the season began. We have learned many skills such as taps, smashes, hitting to the corners of the court, and forehand and backhand serves. During this season we had plenty of good games against Janice Churchill, Bear Creek and Green Timbers but unfortunately on Play Day we came in third place, just 3 points away from 2nd place. It was a really disappointing moment but hopefully next year the grade 6 badminton team will do better and try their hardest. Overall badminton was really fun and we all had a great time learning about the game from our 2 coaches, Ms.Tsuji and Mrs.Smith. We would love to join and learn many new things again next year in grade 7!
