the stereotypicl things in this story is that Rapunzel is supposed to be sweet and shy in the original story, but in our story she is independant and sometimes sweet. in the original story the parents are always so loving to each other and kind, but in this story they get irritated with each other and are sometimes rude.
Narrator: Long ago, there lived a man and a woman who had no children. As year followed year, this was very sad to them. Then one spring, the wife felt her dress tight around her waist. Joyfully she said to her husband
Mom: We are going to have a child at last!
Dad: yes
Narrator: The wife saw flowers that grew in a garden and rare fruits that belonged to a sorceress who had enclosed it on all sides with a high wall. No one ever dared to go in there. One day, as the wife sat by a window looking at the garden, she was staring at a garden of rapunzel. It looked so good, she decided to taste it. The day after that she had a craving for it again
Mom: If I can not have any rapunzel I will die litaraly!
Dad: ok…. –walks away-
Mom: GET ME MY RAPUNZEL!!!!
Dad: Fine!!
Narrator: When her husband went to go get some rapunzel for his wife, he circled around the garden ten times looking for it.
Dad: -look around the classroom-
Narrator: He quickly pulled the rapunzel out of the garden and ran back to the house. His wife ate it quickly.
Mom: GET ME MORE!!!!!
Narrator: Once again, her husband went to go get some rapunzel. But this time, the sorceress saw him.
Sorceress: How dare you steal from my rapunzel!! It will make you ill!!!
Dad: Have mercy on me! My wife is craving it and she is carrying our child! She wil die if she doesn’t eat any!
Sorceress: If that is true, you make take the rapunzel you need, but in return you must give me your child!
Dad: Ok, ok
Narrator: When the child was born, the sorceress appeared in the room and took the child, she named it Rapunzel. The sorceress cared for the baby, doing everything she wanted. Rapunzel grew up and turned even more beautiful. With pale skin and and beautiful long hair. When she reached the age of twelve, the sorceress led her to a forest, and she put her up in a high tower.
Sorceress: Get in there!
Narrator: for years Rapunzel lived in the tower, alone.
Rapunzel: sigh
Narrator: Then one day a king’s son came riding through the woods. When he reached the tower, he heard a beautiful voice singing to the birds.
Rapunzel: -sing badly-
Prince: How……. Beautiful?
Narrator: One day, the prince heard the soreress call out
Sorceress: Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!
Narrator: Now he knew how to reach the beautiful girl! One morning he went to the tower and yelled
Prince: Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!
Rapunzel: -put my hair down-
Prince: -Climbs up-
Rapunzel: GET OUT!!!
Prince: NO!! I just came to see you! Your singing was so……. Beautiful -pause- I guess , I had to come see you, or my heart would have no peace.
Rapunzel: Ummmmm….. I’m taken.
Prince: Oh…… Awkward!
Rapunzel: Maybe we could be friends.
Prince: Sure….. –fist pump-
Narrator: And then they live happily ever after…… I guess.
