The family lives in New York and they are going through poverty.
The kids Hansel and Gretel think it is their fault for their family being poor so they run away from home.
The parents go to look for them in time square
The kids look for a place to stay and they find a place called magic candy
The owner invites them in and offers them a handful of candy and a place to stay for the night.
the children agree and get ready for bed time
the next morning the children wake up to a sweet smell of stew
Then the owner asks if they would want to stay for a couple of nights
the children agree
then the children find out the candy shop owner's real identity, A WITCH
The children are asleep and the witch secretly grabs Hansel and puts him in a padded room
Usually when the witch kidnaps a kid it means that she's gonna eat he or she
Gretel is forced to feed her brother alot so he gets fat and is tasty for the witch
It turns out that Hansel wasn't fat enough so she decided to cook Gretel
To cook her the witch tricked her into going into the furnace to clean it
Right when Gretel's gonna go in the furnace she tricks the witch by telling her that she doesn't know how to go in the furnace
So the witch shows Gretel how to get in
Right when the witch goes in, Gretel shuts the furnace door and turns the heat to 300 degrees
The witch then burns
Hansel and Gretel are saved
Then the children find her debit card and her bank account number and go to the bank
They with drawl all of her money and take it to their house
the parents are grateful and they no longer live in poverty

Narrator:in the year of 2011 a family in new york was going through poverty. the family has two kids named hansel and gretel. One day mother and father were talking about how poor they were.
Mother:we dont have enough money to supply the needs of everyone in the family.(she says very worriedly and sits down unable to stand)
Dad:then i guess we have to work harder and get more money.(he says enthusiastically as he tries to motivate mother)
Gretel: wake up hansel! did you hear what mom and dad were saying?(she yells in his ear)
hansel:WHAT!(says hansel loudly)
gretel:mom and dad says they don't have enough money. I think it is because of us.(she says sadly)
hansel: then we should probaly leave so mom and dad dont have to waste so much money on us
narrator: so the kids run away. Later on the kids find a place called magic candy
gretel:look hansel they have a shop called magic candy in times square
hansel: that name makes me hungry
narrator:while hansel and gretel are roaming the city of times square, their parents are lookingevery for them.
mother:why did they run away?
father:I don't know(he says says patting her on the back as they walk back home)let's just hope they will come back
narrator:back to hansel and gretel.
magic candy owner/witch: why dont you guys come inside and have some candy.
hansel: sure i'll do anything for food
gretel:im not sure we should enter, weve never even been here before.
hansel cmon gretel what could possibly go wrong.
gretel: everything(she says sarcastically)
narrator; so the kids enter the shop.
magic candy owner/witch:here is some food(she says handing the children a bowl of soup)
hasel: thanks
Gretel:thank you very much
narrator: the kids finish up all of their soup
hansel and gretel:I'm done my soup
magic candy owner/wich: why dont you guys stay here.
hansel:sure
gretel; I dont think we should stay. who would offer two strangers a place to stay for the night
hansel: aaaa nice ones duh
narrator: so the kids stay at the owners place for the night
gretel:lets just get some sleep and leave right away tomorrow morning
narrator:so the kids crawl into bed
door to hansel and gretel's room:creeeeeeeeek
narrator:the witch sneaks into the room quietly. then hansel wakes up
hansel: ahh leave me alone what are you doing.
owner/wich: foolish child you dont know who I am.
hansel: who are you?
ower/wich: i am a wich.
hansel: am I being punk'd?
owner/wich: no your not being punk'd. Your being eaten.
hansel:mommmyyy!
narrator: soon gretel hears all of the camotion and goes downstairs to investigate.
gretel: what are you doing with hansel?
owner/wich: im going to eat him.
gretel:why?
owner/wich: do i seriously have to go over this again? Im a wich and I eat children. Now help me make him fatter or else I'll eat him wright now.
narrator: so gretel helps the wich feed hansel.
witch:your not fat enough! I guess i will have to eat the girl
ower/wich: gretel go clean the furnace!
gretel:ok, but can you show me how?
narrator:so the witch crawls into the furnace showing gretel how to cean it so that gretel will go inside the furnace and the witch will trap gretel. but gretel is to smart for the witch.
gretel:heh heh heh!(as she closes the furnace trapping the witch inside)
narrator: gretel runs to hansel and they both run back to their apartment.
Gretel:let's go!
hansel:don't rush me. it's not my fault that i am now fat!
Gretel: ok ok let's just keep running. i bet mom and dad are worried sick about us
narrator:they finally make it back home. gretel opens the door and finds their parents crying on the couch. hansel and gretel rush over
hasel and gretel:mom dad!(they yell running to them trying to tell them that they came back)
